We have an exciting opportunity for a Director of Marketing based in Little Rock, AR.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing Department Leadership
Manage the team of creative, account and other marketing professionals, supporting them in delivering world-class results for our collective marketing efforts.
Lead Development and Marketing support
Provide strategic leadership to the Summit Utilities marketing organization by creating and implementing strategic marketing programs to ensure strong and effective communication with existing and potential customers.
Responsible for planning, conducting, and managing lead generation and marketing initiatives that can be tracked and managed.
Continue and strengthen existing customer engagement via email and social media promotions
Ensure current and potential customers understand and welcome the current services, innovations, and benefits of natural gas provided by Summit Utilities.
Maintain and continuously revise latest marketing initiatives ie: web site and social media channels.
Lead in the development and implementation of robust current and “future state” marketing initiatives utilizing the latest technology, various social media platforms, radio, television, magazine, outdoor advertising, etc.
Create content marketing campaigns with the use of blogs, white papers, social media posts, etc.
Provide the latest and proven marketing tools to support the company sales representatives in the engagement of current and prospective customers
Solution Development and Implementation
Partner with the Customer Service Department in providing marketing material, current marketing information, and training ensuring all customer contact continues the development of brand and customer loyalty,
Work closely in collaboration with Operations Managers in each state to clearly understand their ongoing needs and to determine how well the marketing strategy is working.
Support business development representatives with the most recent marketing materials to enhance their work in the communities and with governmental entities
Brand growth, preservation, and performance measures
Establishes and enhances the brand’s identity, position and marketing voice through the design and implementation of all marketing communication tools including, but not limited to:
Customer communications (emails, bill inserts, etc.)
Social media platforms
Online advertising campaigns
Supports and manages internal brand management through the design and support of all internal communications tools, including but not limited to:
Internal corporate communications and newsletters
Corporate deck/presentation design
Ensure all existing and new marketing efforts are implemented on time, on strategy, and on budget
Develop benchmark criteria to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of all marketing programs and develop and implement improvements as required.
Manage the evaluation, selection and performance of all marketing and public relations partners
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
College degree in Marketing or Business Administration
Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing with recent experience in a senior marketing management role
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
High-performance individual with the ability to interact, build relationships, and communicate effectively with individuals/groups at all levels of the organization
Excellent written, oral and presentation communication skills with proven ability to collaborate and influence internal and external partners
Strong organizational and analytical skills and ability to work both independently and on cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Proficient in all Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
Exceptional knowledge of modern marketing strategies, concepts, tools and practices
Recent experience and success in the implementation of web-based and social media marketing initiatives
