As part of a high-functioning and integrated marketing and communications team, the Senior Manager, Marketing, will manage traditional and digital marketing for the Society. This includes the development and execution of marketing plans for membership (recruitment/retention), educational products and conferences, peer-reviewed science journal, and clinical data registry participation, as well as subsequent project analysis. The senior manager will work closely with staff in all STS departments to develop and disseminate marketing materials via print, email, video, web, surveys, podcast, advertising, and social media.
We seek an individual with demonstrated success in developing and analyzing marketing strategies and an interest in identifying new opportunities to expand our array of services and/or product offerings. Individual should have strong communications skills, both written and verbal, ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of colleagues and physician leaders, proficiency with multiple digital platforms, and effectiveness at handling multiple projects simultaneously.
The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of related work experience, an ability to lead and manage staff, be highly organized yet flexible, and have a strong understanding of and affinity for the application of data, analytics, and technology as it relates to marketing. Association experience is not required but highly preferred. A bachelor's degree is required but a master's degree is preferred.
