Client Partnerships Account Manager

 

Public Outreach is a professional fundraising agency specializing in face-to-face fundraising.  We’ve been working to build a sustainable charitable sector for the past fifteen years and currently operate in Canada, the United States, and Australia. Besides face-to-face fundraising, we also offer phone and digital fundraising services. We believe in a self-sustaining non-profit sector supported by engaged and passionate monthly donors. Our clients are a wide range of international aid, environmental, health, and social justice charities. Our offices are growing and we’re looking to bring a new member to our leadership team!

 

We are looking for our next US Client Partnerships Account Manager to find and cultivate positive and lasting client relationships by delivering high quality account management and strategic program development. The Account Manager will cultivate business opportunities, manage client start-up processes and keep clients appraised of the progress of their fundraising campaigns. As a member of the Client Partnerships team, this position will require leadership ability, knowledge of direct marketing and organizational skills to help the team meet divisional goals.

 

Main tasks and responsibilities

  • Start Up Process
  • Create and facilitate the approval of projections and agreements, providing sales support for each account.
  • Prepare detailed critical paths for campaign delivery, setting appropriate client expectations.
  • Provide project management to campaigns in multiple fundraising offices across United States, overseeing script development, training standards, uniforms and all other fundraising materials.
  • Clearly communicate expectations and requirements to project team members and stakeholders.
  • Gather client requirements and perform cost/benefit analysis of requirements and requests.

 

  1. Campaign Management
    • Manage testing phase of campaigns, analyze results and recommend solutions and improvements.  Provide recommendations to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
    • Ensure that all accounts are accurately tracked for reporting and invoicing purposes
    • Generating reports, including Campaign Proposals, Weekly Progress Reports, and Final Campaign Reports analyzing overall response and volume.
    • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including Clients, Fundraising Managers, and Directors on a regular basis  
    • Recommend new processes where needed to improve quality, cost, or client relations.
    • Resolve any issues and solve problems throughout the duration of the project.
  • Management of fundraising material inventory

  • Generate end of campaign reports.
  • Develop and communicate recommendations for future campaigns.
  • Collect information on materials inventory and identify where materials should be kept.  Ensure client requests for materials storage are fulfilled.

 

  1. Business Development
  • Actively participate in the identification of potential clients
  • Approach, solicit and conclude sales with new clients
  • Develop existing partnerships by identifying needs for new fundraising services.
  • Stay on the lookout for new trends and innovations in the Monthly giving sector

 

What we are looking for:

  • 5-7 years of experience in face-to-face fundraising account management at a US vendor, NGO, or in an equivalent role.
  • Experience in direct marketing
  • Solid understanding of face-to-face business model.
  • Good networking skills and established charity networks.
  • 5 years of strong business development experience and project management.
  • Must have ability to quickly build rapport, trust, and strong relationships with people of all levels both internally & externally.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise initiative, work independently, and maintain successful professional relationships across distance.
  • Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel; Google applications).
