The Automotive Training Institute, a nationally known and well-respected coaching and training company for independent shop owners in the automotive repair aftermarket, is seeking dedicated and tenacious Inside Sales Representatives for our growing team in Linthicum, Maryland.  In this rewarding and lucrative role, you will reach out to repair shop owners in an effort to sell them our 1-day business management training workshop/seminar.  The Inside Sales Representative will develop pre-generated leads from initial contact to sale -- striving to build a relationship and create rapport with potential clients throughout the process.

This position requires a consistent and enthusiastic individual who is goal-oriented and commission-motivated.  If you are a coachable, persistent and aggressive sales professional seeking an opportunity which pays very competitively, then the Automotive Training Institute may be the right place for you to develop your skills and display your talents as an Inside Sales Representative! 

As an Inside Sales Representative for the Automotive Training Institute, you will qualify every shop owner you make contact with -- ensuring that our services will offer the best solution for their unique needs.  Ultimately, your duty will be to close prospects through the sale of a ticket to our many workshop events held all over the US and Canada.  You will strive for an one-call sale, but may reach out 3-4 times before closing.

Additional Responsibilities for the Inside Sales Representative include:

  • Building rapport with potential clients within 30 seconds
  • Asking open-ended, inquisitive questions to ascertain needs
  • Tailoring your presentation to each individual client
  • Setting appointments for follow-up calls
  • Closing sales
  • Managing leads and territories efficiently 
  • 90 outbound dials a day, daily leads provide

As an Inside Sales Representative for the Automotive Training Institute, you must display a positive, friendly attitude and a willingness to learn.  We are seeking sales professionals who are dedicated to consistently meeting and exceeding sales goals.  Naturally, you must also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional requirements of the Automotive Training Institute include:?

  • High School diploma; Associate's degree, a plus
  • Minimum 1-3 years of sales experience, inside sales experience, preferred
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com a plus
  • Average to above computer skills
