Job Overview:

The Junior Marketing Analyst will work in a fast-paced marketing environment and have the ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage multiple projects at once.  The ideal candidate needs to be data driven, a critical thinker and proficient in Excel.  This position supports the Marketing Analytics Manager in providing information and insights regarding customers, markets, and competitors, to measure performance and support business decisions.


  • Develop customer segmentation, targeting and testing strategies for marketing in order to drive incremental revenue and increase overall program performance.              
  • Provide a complete view of the member inclusive of a comprehensive profile leveraging demographics, behavioral trends, spending patterns and channel preferences. Utilize this information to provide recommendations to grow the business and enhance our positioning in the marketplace.
  • In collaboration with the marketing managers, conduct a competitive analysis to understand positioning as it relates to product offering, pricing, and marketing mix.
  • Design, develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns involving complex business rules using Unica Campaign.      
  • Leverage predictive models to enhance segmentation, promotional offering and campaign ROI.
  • Prepare reporting on marketing program performance, communicate findings and provide recommendations to optimize marketing campaigns.
  • Review current operational processes and recommend process improvements that will drive greater efficiencies.            
  • Provide customized Google Analytics reports and dashboards related to KPIs
  • Manage Google Ad Words campaigns (e.g. bid, keyword lists, ad copy, landing page)
  • Develop SEO analysis (e.g. advise on website traffic, design and functionality)

 Desired Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Marketing, analytical/technical oriented major.
  • 2+ years working with Relational Databases and structures.
  • 1+ years of experience with Google Analytics, Ad Words, or Tag Manager
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau.
  • Experience working with Structured Query Language (SQL).  
  • Excel Proficiency (Lookups, advance formulas, pivot tables)
  • Need familiarity with social media and web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Hootsuites, etc.)
