Our "ideal candidate" is smart, strategic, proactive and driven!  They have a strong knowledge of the Direct Mail Customer Acquisition, digital ecosystem and an entrepreneurial spirit.  They are experienced working with retailers, ecommerce and large web based businesses – and the uncanny ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders at both senior and mid-management levels.


Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Campaign Management (Provide comprehensive integrated direct mail circulation, planning, production and strategic analysis)
  • Establish and meet the budgeted revenue targets;
  • Own your accounts by leading, planning and executing marketing campaigns; Lead the planning, development and execution of marketing programs
  • Utilize your high analytical skills and resourcefulness to create winning campaigns by analyzing key metrics to create a constant improvement in your client’s campaigns
  • Review results performance and communicate with list partners; brainstorm ways to improve and expand segmentation
  • Client Relations; Present marketing strategy to clients both via phone and in person, building strong client relationship to maintain customer satisfaction; Manage campaign production calendar and communicate with all key players effectively
  • Work with marketing team in development of the sales support materials including product presentations and sales administration;
  • Identify and communicate market and competitive intelligence to be used in product development and pricing;
  • Maintain regular communication with senior staff regarding goals, objectives, needs and progress.


In addition, our "ideal candidate" has the following skills & experience:

  • BA/BS degree;
  • 3-5 years sales experience in direct mail circulation marketing and or interactive arenas;
  • Cooperative Database experience a plus
  • Brand and/or agency experience
  • Integrated development of direct mail campaign for commercial and/or non-profit clients
  • Highly analytical, power excel user with vast knowledge of pivot tables
  • Ability to articulate marketing needs, benefits statements, unique selling points of products;
  • Strong customer service experience;
  • Knowledge of the general industry procedures, practices, and terminology;
  • Skill in organizing work schedule of self and others;
  • Ability to approach and effectively communicate with a wide range of personalities in a professional and courteous manner;
  • Ability to effectively function in a fast-paced environment with quotas and goals;
  • Ability to engage in effective interpersonal interaction;
  • Ability to maintain high level of organization and attention to detail;
  • Ability to remain flexible and responsive when faced with multiple urgent requests;
  • Proficient use of computer software programs including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel;
  • Ability to prioritize work and handle multiple tasks.
