Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has a full-time position available for a marketing coordinator in our Port Orange (Daytona Beach area) office. Responsibilities include coordinating the proposal development process including preparing statements of qualification and interviews for competitive project pursuits; writing and editing marketing materials; planning and attending industry tradeshows and local business events; providing marketing and business development support to technical staff; providing input on annual marketing plans and budgets; and assisting with advertisements, public relations, photography, database management and administrative needs. Some travel may be required.

The successful candidate must have a combination of education and/or experience totaling four years of relevant experience. Any of the following is acceptable: bachelor’s degree in business administration, journalism, communication, marketing, or related discipline; associate degree in business administration, journalism, communication, marketing, or related discipline plus two years of experience; no degree plus four years of experience. The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following: proficiency with the following software programs: InDesign, Photoshop, Excel, PowerPoint; experience with the proposal process including writing and technical editing; detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced, continuously changing environment with constant and sometimes conflicting deadlines; excellent grammar and writing skills including familiarity with AP style; and previous experience in the architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) consulting industry.
